Three steps to using the MK 1 digital camera adapter.
If you take these steps at the beginning of the day, you'll be set for digiscoping whenever you need the extra magnification of your Skyline spotting scope for that prized shot. In the mean time, however, you can continue viewing directly through your Skyline spotting scope and snap images through your digital camera as usual. Only when you're ready to digiscope do you need to make the final connection between scope and camera – and that you'll do quickly!
- 1. Attach MK 1 T-ring to the spotting scope and secure the eyepiece in place.
- 2. Slip MK 1 adapter tube over the eyepiece and thread onto the MK 1 T-ring.
- 3. Secure MK 1 digital camera base to your point-and-shoot digital camera.
