A: Yes, you should be able to range off the reflectant water up to 1,500 yards. You should also be able to range to the beginning of a dogleg, providing there's a tree or some other object to range on. The Pinseeker probably won't tell you the distance to a point in the fairway, because every blade of grass is very much like all the others.
