1 - 5 of 7

Q1: What is the twilight factor ? Can you recommend a binocular with a high magnification / twilight factor for hunting?

A: the twilight factor is 25, this is an excellent binocular for hunting. but you should also check out the Steiner Predator binoculars.

Q2: Is it fogproof?

A: Absolutely 100% Waterproof, Fogproof, and Shockproof.

Q3: what is the price for sending to denmark

A: simply add the binocular to your cart choose the country and eneter your postal code all shipping options available will be listed.

Q4: If you have a product in stock. When the review section says "ships free?" Approximately how long does it take to receive it? Can you pay additional fees if you would like to get it in two days? Thanks for the help.

A: Free shipping is available in the U.S. only. Depending on your location, it could take from 2 or 3 days to 10 days. Depending on the shipping option you choose and the fee you're willing to pay, you can also receive a product in 5 days to overnight.

Q5: I have been comparing the Nikon 10 x 42 Monarch ATB with the Leupold Sports Optics Green Ring Cascades 10 x 42. The prices and most of the specifications are pretty close. However, the Nikon field of view at 1000 yards appears to be about 17 percent g

A: We're unsure why the optical system in the Nikon Monarch 10x42 ATB binocular gives greater field of view than the Leupold Green Ring Cascades of the same configuration. Neither company publishes the specs on its optical system. We like Nikon Monarchs. Monarch 8x42 and 10x42 placed second and 8th respectively in the Cornell University Ornithology Lab's 2005 rankings of mid-price birding binoculars. Leupold Cascades were not ranked, but the Leupold Wind River Katmai 6x32 took top honors in the mid-price category. Wind River Pinnacle 8x42s were fourth, and 8x32 Katmais were 10th.

Leupold® 10x 42mm Cascades Binoculars in black or natural finish are center-focus, roof-prism binoculars that give you the sharp, bright images with the full contrast and color fidelity serious birders demand even when the light is low. Their in-line design makes them trim, lightweight, and a pleasure to use, whether you're in the backyard or away at more far-flung locales. The slim, in-line design is also ergonomic and easy to grip in all weather conditions.

Leupold Cascades binoculars offer a crisp, bright sight picture, twist-up eyecups and long eye relief even with eyeglasses. The center-focus, dial-mounted, lockable diopter secures your diopter setting against accidental shifts. They also feature a rain guard, rugged construction, shock-absorbing rubber armor, and multi-coated lenses for brightness and clarity. Limited lifetime warranty.

From humble immigrant beginnings, Leupold grew, based on a promise of quality, to become a classic American company. In 1907, Fred Leupold set up a one-man shop at 5th and Oak streets in Portland, Ore., to repair surveying equipment. He was joined by his brother-in-law, Adam Voelpel, and later by inventor John Cyprian Stevens, and the foundations for a century of success were in place.

During Leupold's second half-century, the company has focused heavily on the sports optics business. Leupold's presence in the hunting and shooting market expands, and finally dominates, with innovative optics and features that are now legendary among hunters, shooters, and outdoors enthusiasts. Many of the industry's standards - nitrogen waterproofing, the Duplex® reticle, and more - are Leupold creations.

Included: Cascades binoculars, eyepiece rain guard, push-on objective lens covers, neck strap
