Q1: Does the nikon not give dark imanges as the exit pupile is only 2mm. Is there a report how the nikon 16x32 compares against its cometitiors, e.g. fujinon 14x40 and canon 15x50.

A: You can use it to view in the dark but you are correct in that the image will be much more dim due to the small exit pupil size. I am certain that if you check binocular reviews on those two items you will get a very detailed comparison.
