Frequently Asked Questions
1 - 4 of 4
Q1: I was wandering if this product comes with a case?
A: It incudes both a case and a strap.
Q2: Will you ship to Melbourne Australia and if so how much for shipping Regards Joe Aquilina
A: We can figure out the shipping cost, but we will need the postal code for where it is shipping to. You can get the answer, though, by simply adding the binocular to your cart, selecting your country from the list, and entering your postal code for where the binocular will ship to. The next page will list all options and costs.
Q3: Does it focus each eye individually?
A: No. PermaFocus binoculars are permanently focused to "infinity," and the focus can't be varied.
Q4: What is the advantage / disadvantage of a 12x50 vs 10x50 with permafocus? I see a big difference in field of view.
A: Hi Steve, Thank you for your email. Yup, there's a big difference in field of view - which is going to happen with ANY binocular as the magnification increases. The more you magnify your image - the more "zoomed in" to your object you will be - and you will then be limiting the width of area you'll be seeing. 10x power is the highest power that I ever personally recommend using without a tripod. As your magnification increases - the ability to hold your binocular still (without experiencing eye fatigue) will decrease - without a tripod. Another down side to higher magnification binocular is light loss. The more you magnify - the more light will be drowned out of your binocular. So, images will appear much brighter in the 10 than in the 12 in low light situations - or unfavorable weather conditions. Best Regards, Denny.
