Q1: I have recently purchased from you a pair of Bushnell 10x42 roof prism waterproof binoculars. I have two questions. 1. On the web site you show the above binoculars as black in colour, but the pair that been sent to me are grey. Are they made in various colours, and if so where is this shown on the web-site? 2. The lens covers provided are very flimsy and in the case of the objective lens they dont stay on. Is it possible to obtain some more robust covers and if not could you send two replacement objective lens covers that stay in place. Thank you in anticipation Neil Gibbons
A: It is a Matte Black rubber armoring that they are made with. And i definitely agree they look more gray in person than the image Bushnell gave us. i am sorry but the objective lens covers are not an accessory that we carry. The best thing to do is contact bushnell (the binoculars have a lifetime warranty) at 800-423-3537 they can get you replacements for that binocular.

Q3: Soon I will be taking cruise to Alaska and would like to buy a pair of binoculars. I heard the Bushnells are very well rated. Are binoculars rated at 10 x 42 too powerful for what I am looking to use them for. I am also looking for something not to big and
A: Bushnell Natureview 10x42 binoculars are rated quite high among economy-class binoculars. We don't think 10X magnification would be too strong at all for your purposes. You're likely to be observing from relatively long distance, and 10X should work well for you.
